Sligo Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a business representative organisation representing 230 businesses in County Sligo employing 4,500 people. Sligo Chamber’s core remit is to “Help Sligo Grow”. Sligo City and County continues to be economically disadvantaged through the neglect of the North West of Ireland by successive governments. The Chamber calls on all those who aspire to represent Sligo, Leitrim, West Cavan and South Donegal to commit to the needs of Sligo’s Business Community and to stop the unequal and unfair distribution of national economic resources. Only through the specific and targeted allocation of exchequer resources to balance the infrastructural and economic divide on the Island of Ireland, will all of County Sligo be enabled to reach its economic potential.
