Accidents involving knives are common in the catering and retail industry. The use of knives is necessary in any food business and knowledge of how to use them properly cannot be underestimated.
You will learn techniques on how to use, clean and store knifes. The dos and don’ts will be discussed

- Employer and Employee responsibilites
- Common cause of accidents
- How to use & handle a knife
- What precautions to take
- Meat Slicer usage
- Demonstrate your knowledge & competency
On completion of the questionnaire, each candidate will receive Certification and the course hand out will be provided
Trainee’s knowledge will reflect the current Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 occupational law, promoting accident prevention and safety awareness.

Training Cancellation Policy: Training courses which are cancelled over 7 days in advance of scheduled training date shall incur no cancellation fee. Training courses which are cancelled within 7 days of scheduled training date shall incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost. Registrants who fail to attend training will be charged 100% of the full fee.
