Emerging Entrepreneurs in the West of Ireland invited to spend 24 hours with some of Ireland’s most successful business leaders
The Entrepreneur Exchange, taking place in Sligo on November 28th and 29th, is a unique opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs in the region to gain exclusive access to some of the most successful business leaders in the West of Ireland. Entrepreneurs such as Seamus Farrell from SF Engineering, Fergal Broder from Lotus Works, Frank Salmon from CMS Distribution, Michael Dawson from One4All amongst a host of other successful entrepreneurs are sharing their experience and expertise in support of the next generation of Western Entrepreneurs.
This unique event by Sligo Chamber of Commerce, the Sligo European Enterprise Network and The Western Development Commission in association with the North West Regional County Enterprise Boards, Enterprise Ireland and IT Sligo offers SME’s from the Western Region the opportunity to gain experience, insights and expertise from these hugely successful entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the launch of The Entrepreneur Exchange, Sligo Chamber CEO, Paul Keyes said; “The Entrepreneur Exchange is an opportunity for Entrepreneurs with an investor ready proposition, or with an established business who want to get focused on growing their business to get the competitive edge. It is also further evidence of the collaborative public/private partnership that is going to get the Western Region back on its feet.”
The Entrepreneur Exchange offers participating companies a full day of tailored business mentoring meetings complimented by a networking dinner.  This 24 hour experience includes one to one meetings, presentations, banking institutions, venture capital investors and networking opportunities. Companies in the Food & Beverage, Medical Device, ICT, CleanTech, and Engineering sectors will be the primary focus of the event; however any business seeking to scale is encouraged to apply.

Applications for The Entrepreneur Exchange close on November 8th.  A panel of twenty entrepreneurs will then be invited to participate in this exclusive event.
